Basic Obedience
Our goal at Oakhaus K9 is to allow you to enjoy your dog. Basic obedience training gives you and your dog the foundational skills for a lifetime of enjoyment with your pet! From puppies to seniors- all dogs can benefit from obedience training.
Boarding and Daycare
Our home-based boarding and daycare programs are kept small in order to provide lots of one-on-one time to your pet! We also offer enrichment options like slow feeders, puzzle games, snuffle mats, and regular updates while your dog is with us. Set your mind at ease and let us do the rest!
Meet the Trainer
Shelby Nelson created Oakhaus K9 Training when the military moved her husband away from their hometown of Senatobia, Mississippi, where she had been working with dog training companies for several years. Since then, Shelby has worked under various sport and breeding mentors and competed in IGP, American Schutzhund, PSA, and agility.

Through over a decade of experience, she combines balanced methods of obedience training with engagement work, drive building, and understanding of canine behavior to bring out the best in each individual dog.
